
FIATA, a
non-governmental organisation, represents today an
industry covering approximately 40,000 forwarding
and logistics firms, also known as the "Architects
of Transport", employing around 8 - 10 million
people in 150 countries.

FAAPA was
established in 1973 and is the leading body of
freight forwarding association in the Asia Pacific
region. It includes 16 member countries such as
Nepal, India, Japan, Australia, South Korea,
Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore,
Bangladesh, Brunei, Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Sri
Lanka and Thailand.

AFFA is serving its industry of international transport and logistics as a neutral body. It's been actively promoting transport & logistics development and cooperation in this sub-region, especially well knowing that human resource development becomes a more strategic part and important role at the heart of the industry. |
